Through Design-Assist, we work with owners, architects and engineers to incorporate alternative erection techniques. This concept saves on both schedule starts/durations and reduced engineering costs, reducing front-end overhead costs.
In Design-Build projects, we work with a contractor, fabricator and separate, independent engineers to design, fabricate and erect the project based on owner’s specifications. This concept is similar to the Design-Assist concept in savings on both schedule starts/durations and reduced engineering costs, reducing front-end overhead costs.
Bosworth Steel Erectors can also provide Value Engineering for a steel construction project, often as part of a Design-Assist partnership. This system allows us to provide an owner with a tangible value to various construction phases. Our team can provide budget pricing and value engineering to reduce not only contract costs, but also project durations.
We have consistently embraced Alternative Contracts in our work, providing an amount of latitude to provide value to the customer. We can work directly with the General contractor, as a subcontractor to a fabricator or provide turnkey furnish and erect contracts in which Bosworth Steel Erectors would be the prime subcontractor.
